Bembel Charity by Kelterei Krämer
2022 was the year of the "Bembel Charity":
It's a series of auctions all for a good cause, which has been launched by the Cidery Krämer.
Together with our mother company we came up with a whole list of great campaigns, in which our partners also actively supported us in our endeavour. Almost every month there was a new auction, and the proceeds were split equally between the „Summerfield Kids Foundation“ and the „Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e. V.“. You can find the history of all our campaigns below:
Bergstreet Boys
The "Bembel Charity" was inspired by the Odenwald music duo "Bergstreet Boys". They released the song "Bembelmen" in 2021, from which all download proceeds were donated to charity. At the time, the Cidery Krämer was already the sponsor of the project and, of course, the cider sponsor for the video.
The song is available on well-known portals such as iTunes, Appel Music, amazon music, Spotify, etc. Every download and every stream counts to the proceeds, just click on the logo of your favourite provider to find ‘Bembelmen’:
Timo Glock
The "Bembel Charity" kicked off with three auctions by Cidery Krämer partner Timo Glock. He auctioned off signed and partialy worn racing clothes from his F1 and DTM times, all for the good cause. This auction also included a racing suit in the exclusive Bembel design, which is a one-of-a-kind suit, not available anywhere else!
Ikke Hüftgold
In March, Mallorca party hit legend Ikke Hüftgold auctioned off three ultimate Ikke packages, consisting of an original Ikke-Bembel tracksuit with a wig. All signed, of course.
Karl Heinz Bembel
In April, BEMBEL-WITH-CARE raffled Karl-Heinz Bembel (a can costume) to cider fans and donated €500 to each of the two institutions during the proceeds of the auction.
Tickets for WACKEN OPEN AIR
As an official partner of WACKEN OPEN AIR WACKEN OPEN AIR, we auctioned off two personalised tickets for the heavy metal festival. Of course, we raised a BEMBEL can with the winners on site.
Patrick Assenheimer
Professional racing driver Patrick Assenheimer auctioned himself as a personal taxi driver for one lucky winner! It was our June auction: ride with him driving a Mercedes AMG around the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring.
Max Hopp
Our October campaign: a jersey worn by darts player Max Hopp at the World Cup of Darts. Max was in the quarter and semi-finals in 2020 with exactly this exclusive participant jersey, which he also signed, of course. In addition, even darts legend Phil Taylor signed it.
Porsche Oldtimer Traktor
Dieter Schwinn, the father of BEMBEL-WITH-CARE CEO Karsten Schwinn, donated a well-maintained Porsche Diesel vintage tractor from 1962 from his private collection. In addition, the vehicle was signed by many well-known personalities from television and social media. It was auctioned off to the highest bidder. The big final highlight of the Bembel charity campaign.
Handing over the cheques
At the end of the year 2022, the "Bergstreet Boys" and we drove to the two charity organisations "Summerfield Kids" and "Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V." to hand over the cheques. We all sat together to recap the whole year and we still are happy that we could help so many children with this Bembel Charity Initiative.
